In Response To: Seeking Local Guidance (Matt)

A good source for fresh bait is Clem's seafood in Southport. They are closed for the season, but open in March. We always stop there to get some fresh caught fish/scaleups/shrimp before heading to the ferry. Clem's to ferry is about 10 minutes.(stop is for dinner, becaue my family sure as heck can't count on me to catch it). I usually am able to net mullet for cutbait.Iv'e never been there in March or April,so I don't know if the mullet run at that time of the year. To reflect on Terry's response, "A morning fishing on the cape or south beach is Heaven, catch fish, icing on the cake"
