In Response To: Jim - A Happy New Year to You (Capt D)

Thanks Capt D and the same back to you and your family. Our first trip to the Outer Banks was in 72 or 73 my 2 sons we wee little. We wound up on the beach and the winds were howling, pushing sand so badly we had to carry them..
It wasn't a pleasant trip and we were staying in VA. Beach, however we never missed a year since then.
1 son went on to live & work in Hatteras for 10 years, your so right saying changes are not really for the better, although isn't that the road our country is traveling on now ?
We still get down now every year, I don't fish as much, I drink more than I did, I eat more than I did, I sleep more than I did...hmmm I do alot more than what I did years ago maybe things aren't so bad after all.
Oh yes my milkman didn't use a horse, however I loved drinking the cream off the top of that GLASS bottle.
Happy New Year again
Jim C
