Just got back from a week in that area. We slayed the puppy drum just north of the pier most of the week. All slot fish between 23 and 27 inches. We put 22 on the beach Wednesday night and picked up at least 4 or 5 every other day. Using cut mullet - fingers and big ones. I was able to get by with a 4 oz sinker most of the time. Also picked up some nice specs on cut bait and a couple throwing grubs. Only hit them real good one Saturday morning, water was pretty dirty most of the week. Anything with green on the grubs seemed to be working.
