You have to find a spot where you can get over the bar and be able to hold bottom on the other side. The further over the better. For some reason they like the outside side of the bar.

When your looking for stripers during the day and it's not windy there's some little birds not sure what kind that like to follow each fish around in the water. Could be one bird maybe 2 or 3 and if you see those small birds it's a really good sign. The birds will probably be hovering and moving kind of slow. The wrecks are a good place to find them.
