Northern OBX Storm update

As of 12pm rt 12 has been declared impassible through Duck. Came up to Corolla this morning and had the hardest time getting through where the Sanderling Inn is... 2-3 feet of water on the roadway for 200 yards or so. Buck Island oceanfront has taken some major erosion already. Out of the 5 walkways that I could see only 1 still had its stairs attached. The dune has been eroded away to a straight up wall. Fingers crossed for the next 2 high tides...
