Not my year to fish

Well , it's just been a bad year for me. The one week I got to come down , Hurricane Bill passed offshore the first part of the week and Danny at the end of the week. Every time I think I might get to break away from day to day stuff and sneak down for a while , something always comes up. So anyway , I'm giving up for this year and I guess I'll try for late spring/early summer next year. We have been catching a few landlocked stripers up here in the lake , so it's not a total loss , but man I wish I had gotten to fish in the big pond a little more this year. Keep me updated , it is awful late in the year but a "blitz" might be enough to make me change my mind and make a late trip! If nothing else , somebody catch a big drum and wrestle him around for a while - tell him I sent ya! Happy fishing!
