It is behind Manteo inbetween that island and the mainland. Most people fish along the 2 bridges that connect manteo(roanoke island) and the mainland. These are long bridges and are known for catching stripers (rockfish) this time of year. Some people will wade around the base of the old bridge but most are in boats. There used to be many people on this board who fished this area. Not sure where they went...
