The water looked kind of murky not clear and the winds the next few days are going to make the surf more muddy. I'd use a Sea Striker bluefish double fireball rig, I like the mono one with the 1" floats. If your using finger mullet I'd fillet them or cut the finger mullet in half. Throw it out as far as you can and change the bait about every 20 minutes. When you catch a bluefish try that for bait. Fillet the bluefish and cut the fillets into about 1"x2" pieces, hook through the meat side first so you don't mash it and keep the carcass. The best bait for a bluefish is a fresh oily piece of bluefish.
