Foggy chilly morning.

Around what kind of trees did you say you were finding them? BTW I talked to somebody that does some catch and release at my pond.
He is into trout fishing and goes to a creek and below a dam in Lenoir, NC which I thought was too far east to try to catch them.
This past week he said he caught two different kinds at both places that were small size, said a woman new to it caught 2 giants.
He said it was crowded and the season was closed there. I told about creek that runs along the road where I go to the doctor there.
It's called Happy Valley the town end of road is a hole in wall a little strip mall with a post office by some kind of industry park.
Is kind of deeper on one end but looks like the perfect wide shallow trout stream further down that you could walk around in fishing.
I have never seen anybody fishing there looked fishy and looked like it might have a small public pier too in shallow part of stream.
I'd guess not stocked. Anyways sent him to the corner of my dam something was chasing minnows, saw later 2 full size snapping turtles.
Also have what I think is a beaver this year, guy thought was an otter but I saw it swimming with a stick that had green leaves on it.
Disappeared under a bush hanging over the water, not sure if is stick piled or hole in the bank. I have got a goose nesting so avoiding.
