Cowboy Beans

An after Thanksgiving blow the pipe out, originally was somebody's bring your own dish for an office party that did not last long.
Cowboy Beans
1 pound hamburger or Jimmy Dean regular sausage roll
1 (28 oz) large can of Bush's Best Baked Beans any flavor (Maple & Cured Bacon, Brown Sugar Hickory)
1 or 2 (15.5 oz) cans red kidney beans
1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
1 diced onion
1 diced green pepper
4 Tbsp brown sugar
2 Tbsp ketchup
1 Tbsp mustard
bag of bacon bits
salt and pepperBrown meat with onions and peppers, add a little salt and pepper. Mix in the beans, diced tomatoes, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard. Pour in casserole dish and sprinkle with bacon bits and bake at 350 degrees about an hour until they are bubbly. Serve with cornbread or rolls. Can use a crockpot for a bring your own dish, brown meat with onions and peppers on stove and add all into crockpot cook on high for 4 hours.
