Fishing Report 8/24-09/01

Sorry for a late posting but havn't been near a computer. We had a great fishing week at the OBX. I read this Board alot and appreciate all the great posts so thought I would return the favor.
Monday- at the point-lots of pompano on fishbites
Monday evening- south beach-pompano,puppy drum,flounder on fishbites no luck on cut bait,squid or shrimp
Tuesday- at the point- pompano and bluefish on fishbites no luck w/other bait
Wednesday- at the point- only brought fishbites-no bites-everybody using cut bait catching fish, I did not have any.
Thursday-ocracoke south inlet- flounder and lots of spot on fishbites no luck w/cut bait
Friday- back to the point w/cutbait-rain ran most of the turons off the beach midday then turned sunny 2 hours before high tide and then the bite was on bluefish, bluefish,bluefish sometimes 2 at a time as soon as the bait hit the bottom , shut down after high tide.
What a great week! Lots of good fish dinners.
