Also try the piers on the ocean side. The Sheeps head and trigger fish start hitting well around 9 - 10 am. Use small hooks and sand fleas for them. They get to be a good size but have some very small mouths. When fishing for them fish right up against the pillons on the bridges or piers. Also use squid for the flounder. You will not get alot of keepers but they are fun to catch and they like to sit under the shadow of the piers during the heat of the day.
