river fishing

did some river fishing on the south branch of the Potomac in west virginia. we started early and caught some smallmouth bass, river perch, fall fish and some blue cats. were using rapala floating baits, rooster tail spinners, and live minnows. nothing real big, but a nice mix. water was in good shape. had a good day.
looks like a dry week here in northern va. been pretty hot, with a break in humidity yesterday. going to try to send some pics of my garden, if they go thru. everybody stay cool.
