Fennel Carrots

Something yummy and the one thing I grew at the beach that turned into a yard weed in sand was regular fennel, made yard smell like licorice.

Fennel Carrots

1 (16 oz) small size bag of fresh baby cut carrots
3 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1/8 tsp whole fennel seeds (can do more 1/4 tsp)

Bring a small pot of water to boil add all to it and continue to boil for five minutes, reduce heat to 3 to a slow bubble and continue cooking for about 20 minutes with a lid cracked on to vent and stick with a fork to check if done.
