electric vs. gas

i was reading an article on how much it cost to charge an electric vehicle. they hee hawed around about what kind and battery type etc., finally agreed it cost about half as much as gas. here's the kicker. they said one good thing, you will never have to worry about gas going up like now. DAH!! my electric bill just went up last month. and if these electric cars sale, you can bet your butt they will figure a way to get the price up for electric vehicles. i think people are becoming brain dead.
