Nah I get it Steve. I found myself in the same position several times. When I first started kayak fishing the sound I was all over the place searching and asking questions. Many of the folks on here can attest. If you don't ask and or talk to people you'll play even more He'll.

I spent 4 months on work detail in Chincoteague VA one summer near Wallops Island. The drum season is a lot shorter than the banks. I ended up getting 2 nice bulls when the Monarch butterflies showed up, (that's when the Reds start to show up too) and low and behold they were right. Caught a bunch of other stuff too, enough croaker to fill a football stadium, flounder and striper. So ask away, we admire your excitement and passion I know the feeling especially when your headed to one of the best fishing locations in the country.
