Same here on North Coast. Know that's the case when raw shrimp turns pink while fishin inland ponds/lakes.
Rose of Sharon out back prolific this summer same as yours looks. Already needs big time pruning. Surprised in spite of heat and low rain trees/shrubs are flourishing. Lawns sufferin big time tho. Chinch bugs main culprit so far.
Here outside chores limited to NLT 0830 hrs.
Took on wasp nest early yesterday at top peak of house. Survived. Empty nest will have to stay in place till get power washer out for clams.
Shingles in later stage now. Still itchin, still crusting over, some swelling and sure not attracting the OP ladies:):)
Most lovin = from dogs stoppin by daily for treats.
Laugh of the day #1. Lady friend over for coffee Sun. nite. Brought this Capt some peaches. Called yesterday (Wed.) to report she may have brought more... tested positive for COVID.
Laugh of day #2. Bocce last nite. Wore T shirt sayin "I Can See Your Crack". Free at Auto Show in spring from foundation Repair Co. OP ladies didn't see the humor. Based on that, guessin another shirt sayin "I'm Not a Gynecologist - But I'll Take a Look" would not go over well!
Cigarettes now $13 at local casino. Gas $4.05. Corn outrageous 3 for $2.00. Remember in the "way back" bakers dozen for $1.
Nearing completion of trip unpack and fishin gear repairs.
Crew has booked for 2023. Weeks in Kitty Hawk and Rodanthe. 2 or 3 for this Capt.
Forecast has mid 90's by mid next week.
