All good advice.

Scout for holes at low tide. The holes do move sometimes. My favorite hole at the Hillcrest parking lot has disappeared.

Last weekend, I caught small spot and croakers, a sea mullet, a skate.

Ditto on the small hooks.

Ditto on bloodworms and fresh shrimp. Also, Bag-of-Worms artificial worms work very well on spot and croakers.

If you cast to the first breakers, you are liable to get skates. Not fun.
