Tuesday Waves Report

0545 - 0800 hrs. Surf. ESE 4 - 12. Low tide. 5 sandbars. Drag south. 4 oz storm rolling. Nada.

Told missed altercation between fishermen and family late morning. Family already there, with kids in water. Fishermen arrived, set up in front of family and proceeded to fish with no regard to kids. Apparently they were doing same to others moving south down beach. They leave all gear on beach overnite…rods, reels, tackle, chairs, umbrellas. Park service does nothing re: the overnite gear. So much for clear nite beaches for turtles. Also told heavy NJ accents heard.
