Dr. Son and family here now with this Capt. He was recruited by Outer Banks Hospital in 2002.

Turned it down. Now = Asst. Director of Emergency Medicine at one of the top 2 hospitals in the country. Over the years has performed surgery at beach 2x…once on beach in Whalehead, and once on dining room table on HI. RN BSN daughter assisted during the “dining room” job. Co-incidentally she was the one who needed surgery on the beach. Nice to have the two here each year + a granddaughter now also an RN BSN ER nurse.
