Wednesday Kitty Hawk Report

0530 hr. Surf. NNE 7-13. Not fishable. Wind whistling the house. Occasional large booms from breaking waves.

0900 - 1030 hrs. 4oz storm sinker not holding. Puffers. Some weed. Drag south. In afternoon Blackhawk chopper drilling with jump outs and basketing up. No fly zone was in effect for civilian aircraft.

Last nite dinner at Thai restaurant very good. On the curve at start of the Beach Rd. Very small inside. Gave this Capt chance to uncork the language. Owner born in Korat near where this Capt had hootch on the Royal Thai Air Force Base 1970-71. Chatted up old times, places. Was rewarded with xtra piled on entree. Food, service excellent with large portions. Recommended!
