Yakman, I was fishing for natives. the stream starts out in blue ridge mountains and ends up dumping into shenandoah river in the valley. the lower part of stream is stocked by state. i like small worms. i started at daylight and had a few hits on worms. the stream was perfect. i switched over to a 1/24 oz. black rooster tail single hook and hooked 2 but jumped off at bank. looked like in 6" to 8" range. for stocked trout i like to spin or jig. going back in middle of april. usually have better luck then. stay safe
