Never heard of anyone pleased w/ Dish.

Melt last couple days has snow pack down to about 14". Light snow overnite = 2". Here at the homestead snow crew right on it at 0400 hrs. Plowin street and drives. Heavy stuff beginning now. Forecast = 9 - 12". To end by midnight.

Schools closed, trash pickup cancelled. You younger folks don't remember the really big snows of 50's and 70's. Remember only 1 time schools closed in 50's and that when main roads were closed to all but public transit (buses and streetcars) and emergency vehicles.

Yesterday nurses at major hospitals told they cannot call off cause of road conditions...offered $89 - $109 hotel rooms and empty beds in ER.

No groundhog shadow yesterday.

And...thanks for the "hairball" fix.
