i don't know, but it seems we have enough oil and gas not to have them scattered all across the US. i bet you they can figure out how to make gas and oil clean.
there was a man in my area that ran an engine shop. he always dressed in old clothes and looked like a homeless person. i took him all my work because he was good and charged a fair price. he was always tinkering with something. one day i went to his shop and sign said closed, out of business. i thought this was strange and started asking around. they said he invented a carb that got 200 mpg. to this day i have never heard what happened to him. i figure someone made him an offer he couldn't refuse, and he just disappeared.
