Be glad to share North Coast weather. -16 Sat. AM. Cold enuf to migrate your testicles! And keeps snowin. Deck 3 ft. deep in spots. Had 4" yesterday and another 4" predicted today. No relief projected till early Feb.

Most would think good weather for indoor projects, and would be for this Capt, w/ jungle still in his blood, (ever since back can't tolerate cold) if one or more of crew didn't stop by most every day interuptin. No privacy here - they just walk in.

Daughter and dog from VA. leavin this AM after 4 day stay. Means can resume carpet scrubbing, then elec. fireplace repair and tax prep. to pass the time.

Finally started seeing some bare spots on shelves at grocery stores. Most in frozen foods. Fresh veggies also short at some stores.

Gas $2.99 at closest station yesterday. Most others at $3.19.

Moan of the day... SS payments after Medicare charge now down to $36.50 a month. Yes, $36.50 a month. Was $84 last year. Screw the vet (retired from govt. service) continues.

Still getting calls from OP neighbors for malfunctioning stuff. mostly furnaces and garage door openers. One that tightens the "jaws" (fishin related) the most = OP cross the street. Son always tells his mom, to call this Capt for problems whether he's enjoying FL. or on golf course here. She called 4x one day last week. (Wouldn't be so bad if she was a "hottie", but not as is 86 years old:):)
