Quick Trip

We went down late last Wednesday through Saturday for a quick Birthday trip. Stayed in Nags Head Wednesday and was on the beach at first light. Caught keeper Blues, 1 nice Speck lost in the wash and a nice 17 inch flounder that had to go back. All fish caught on 3/8ths jig head and Z-man swimbait.This was all in the first hour. WE checked out by 830, got coffee and headed to Buxton. Tide started going out, birds diving and surf loaded with baitfish. Tide almost all the way out the Blues came in hard. Caught a limit of 2-3 pound class. Fun day.

Wind turned hard SW Thursday night and Friday fishing sucked. Plan and Simple. Nobody was catching. Saturday, wind had laid back down but caught nothing before having to check out and head home.

Will try to go back in a couple weeks 11th -14th.
