We did fine. Got 5.5 in of rain but it was spread out. No wind, the power stayed on and not a drop of water in the basement. Just west of us got hammered. Brandywine river had roads closed for a few days.

Was out of town all weekend. Went friends place in woodland beach DE. and went crabbing in the kayak. Picked up a couple dozen nice fat jimmies saturday morning. Ran 7 traps and hit the incoming tide. Things got a little sketchy in when the tide changed to outgoing and brought all that debris from the heavy rains up north. Saw lot of folks grabbing drift wood and hauling it home. Too much debris to put in my pots after Saturday. Tons of Peanut Bunker but nothing chasing them.

All that rain and the cooler temps brought new life to my tomato plants. Also got tons of sweet and hot cherry peppers. Going to stuff the hot cherries with some sausage stuffing and put them on the grill this week.
