How big is the engine. Mine is only a 5 hp. Anytime the river is below 3.6 it's tough for me. There is a Public boat ramp in Middletown on the Swatara Creek right where it dumps into the Susquehanna. Google map it. It's right below the Harrisburg International Airport.
We belong to the Steelton Boat launch. It is locatated right under the PA Turnpike bridge. Costs only $53 a year.
Or you can get a daily pass for $5.
The area from 1 mile above the turnpike bridge down the the airport runways is real good for bass or catfish.
