Rodanthe Report Tuesday

0545-1015 hrs. Surf. Nearing low tide at start. SSE 3 increasing to 5-8. Clear to start w/ mares tails by 0800 hrs. Dirty 8-10 ft. waves at the outer bar.

Crabs awoke after 3 days. 2 small bites = crabs.

6 fisherman out for short times. Nothing caught.

Surf camp arrived 0845 hrs. Set up south of Kohler Ct. for a change.

Yesterday afternoon visitors set up canopy on beach directly outside house window. Left up overnite. Sure no plans to remove before dark for rest of week IAW National Seashore rules. Nice ocean view for rest of the week. Breaking...another canopy just put right next to 1st one, same family. Now beach access from house blocked by the canopies!

3/4 dogs on beach off leash.

No dolphins, no seabirds, no shells.
