Now come on...surely you can sacrifice ZZZZ's for the kids.

Make it an adventure. Up before sunrise. Pack some breakfast, maybe just cocoa and donuts. Eat at the water.

Did that many times w/ our kids. Coleman stove... bacon, eggs, donuts. Those are memories they have never forgotten.

And ..."Way Back Machine". When this Capt a kid, parents would do the same and afterwards we would look for Cotton Club (soda) bottle caps. They could be turned in for green stamps which in turn (when you had enuf of them) into merchandise.

Hopin to get down w/ 75% of family 6/19 for at least couple of weeks. Not all can go this trip due to work requirements + son-in-law cannot ever leave FBI dog anywhere w/o him. House = no pets. While he might be able to make a case for the dog there (as dog is a FBI agent in his own right), they have another dog too and no way 2 dogs gonna fly. Usual crew of 17 will be reduced to 12.

Lookin forward to yur next report - hopefully a positive one.
