Fishing report 5/24

Trip down not bad (8 1/2 hours). Gas in PA. at $3.19 @ Gal. Got gas at Exit 104 Flying J at $2.87 @ gal. Prices here down as far south as Kitty Hawk is at $2.89 @ gal. Not bad. No place had NO GAS signs up.
Today, winds NE 17 + with 1 ft. plus waves, brutal at times. Caught a 23" Puppy Drum at 1005 am. Caught another Puppy Drum at 23 1/2" just after 3 pm. Son-in-laws = Nothing. Bait of choice was cut mullet.
