TW's report 5/23

Posted By: No fish in the box
Date: Sunday, 5-23-21, at 10:09 a.m.

Surf- The ocean is super clear but the swells are still pretty big today. There may be a few sea mullet and puppy drum caught off the beaches. Hopefully these swells will die down throughout the week.
Piers- Spanish, blues, puppy drum and trout were bitting at all of the piers yesterday. The Spanish and blues were caught on gotcha plugs. The puppy drum and trout were being caught on grubs.
Inshore- Pretty swelly trying to get through the inlet, but once the guys made it over the bar it was smooth sailing. Today looks like the same conditions so be safe on your way out of the inlet. The boats came back with Spanish, blues and a few cobia yesterday. The guys that stayed inside caught trout and puppy drum.
Offshore- The guys that decided to cross the bar yesterday came back to the dock with bigeyes, Mahi and a few yellowfin.
Tides.
