I was using a drop rig. I started out using fresh sand fleas but did not have much success so I was talking to a guy next to me and he was using muscles and he gave me some to try. Well after that it was one. Muscles were the ticket. Last August I had awesome success using sand fleas and they love them. I fished the pilings and just dropped my rig as close to them as I could. Sometimes I went all the way to the bottom and sometimes I just dropped the rig down until I could barely see my bait. I fished the OUT GOING tides and this was also the hot ticket. If you have to fish the ingoing tide, well just be sure you are on the side of the bridge in which the water is going away from you. We tore them up using this method on both sides. As to the RMSF, I am still not over it. I had to return to my home in Jackson and really recuperate from a week of intense and hard fishing. I have never had to do that before. Love to all as today I will be holding a tight line on the fresh water side. Debbie
