those geese can become a problem if they start hanging around your pond. very messy. there is a big lake about 5 miles from me. once in a while a couple will land on my ponds and i scare them away. i was down in Harper's Ferry and you couldn't walk around without getting stuff on feet. weather been about normal around here. low 40's and 20's at night. got my trout stuff out the other night.
