Beach Update

Sorry, been here since Saturday and just haven’t been able to get to computer. Arrived Sat afternoon, windy and rough but caught some spot, mullet and a few sharks. Bigger blow and rougher on Sunday but was great drum surf, caught a couple nice slots around 24” and lost a big boy in the surf at my feet. Monday and Tuesday things calmed down and a mixed bag. Anything from Pompano, Spot, flounder, a few puffers and a number of 1lb + Mullet. Each night a few sharks in the 2-3’ range, caught a 5’++ sand shark last night and was a bunch of fun landing in the dark. Today is absolutely beautiful, but fish aren’t biting - to damn nice out. But I’m not complaining. Wind and weather next 2 days; hopefully can keep a line I. The water and the drum come back.
