Fishing w/ a popping cork is the same as fishing with a bobber but just give it a little jerk, pop it and a crank or two. Let the lure sink before you pop it. I am using 18-22" leader with a 1/8 oz. red jig head and either white or green/yellow 4" gulp.
If you need some where to launch, heading south on 158 just past Burnies turn right at CRT. This is W. Tateway Rd. go about 1/4 mile and hang a rt. on Wingrass Circle. This leads to the Wright Bros. Multi use Path. Small parking lot w/a beach launch. Head north diagonal across the water towards the big white house, cant miss it. then fish the shore line west hitting the creek mouths. You should be in business providing they are still around. 2nd option head south to Burnt Island and Sloop Island area around Collington. Make sure the weather is cooperating and your ready to paddle! Its about a 30-40 min. paddle but worth it.
GOOD LUCK!!
