Med records do not show this Capt had dengue. But then again when in field did own medical procedures as needed. No records of that either.
Perhaps birthing elephant with arm in to shoulder also qualifies as a preventive??
On the North Coast:
Below freezing temps due later this week. Time to clean off deck for the year. Leaves startin to turn.
Pumpkin shortage. Farmers having auctions to highest commercial bidders.
Deer chompin most nites.
Still no wooly bears seen.
Big coon raidin bird feeder, bypassing long "rat guard" around pole.
Time to do the follow up home surveys here in the OP community. (Like in the Geico commercials.) Will be more weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Dr. son not cancelling Trick or Treat. Doin big bigfoot production again, complete w/ hands on artifacts, video projected on side of neighbors house... and bigfoot (in person) bursting out of the dark. Costume is movie quality. Sure will be lots of "wet" spots on driveway afterwards:):)!!
Most ridiculous happening lately...new female committee member doin initial home surveys cited homeowner for a slight rust discoloration on paint over a screw head on mailbox post. She also failed to record her own violations.
Most frustrating lately...did eye exams and ordered new glasses 2 weeks ago. Dr.'s new procedure = drive to office and staff will bring new glasses to your car. This Capt havin none of that. Insisted on in office delivery. And sure nuf, Bi-focals on both this Capt's and Mrs. Capt's unacceptable. Mrs. Capt's new glasses correct her double vision. However takes time for brain to adapt to prisms in lenses. She wore them home till new lenses arrive (to correct Bi-focal problem.) Result...she fell 2x the next day not bein able to see thru Bi-focals.
Bottom line... Just Livin the Life!!
