Thursday report

Strong E wind yesterday morning and ocean was rough and sea weed started to roll in. Hole in front of house is still giving up all the spot I want and good amount of Mullet as well. Storm rolled in and sea Weed just got too bad around 7pm. Packed up and ran over to Sound but got there a little to late. Guys beside me caught an under a lot drum and a nice keeper drum. I think I had to big of set ups on my rods for that type of fishing, but I’ll be ready for it next time.
Blood worms are $13-14 for a bag down here. If I lived and fished here all the time, doubtful I’d use them all the time; but for a week trip it’s worth to get a few bags and have lots of action. I think I caught over 30 spot on Wednesday with them.
Typing this Friday morning and wind switch last night. Ocean is nice and blue today and waves manageable for kids to get out in surf. Last day unfortunately.
