Sunday fishing

Beautiful day! Hot, hot, hot! Big waves today; had to be 100+ surfers out there this morning at low tide. Offshore storm and SE winds made for a big surf day. No problems with them and a few even stopped to see where my lines were and what I was catching. Nice to not have any issues with these guys today. Surf was wild and 5’s to get things to stay in close. Caught all the Spot I wanted on bloodworms tipped with fake bloodworms and a few bait size mullet; caught a few of both on squid today as well. When tide started to go out this afternoon it was done and I mean slammed shut, nothing after that. Evening fish was a bust and the South to North current took every cast back into the shore; had a 7oz on one rod and it went right in as well.
Looks like wind shift later tomorrow night. We’ll see what happen then.
