Sat fishing report

Long day, not much sleep and left Pa at 1am and arrived on island around 9:30. Fished ramp 27 till house opened and caught some mullet and decent spot that will make some nice bait. Fished beach in front of house “1/2 mile N of Rodanthe Pier” nice little hole with lots of Spot on Blood worms and the occasional mullet. Fish finder rigs with spot on them now, a couple nice hits a one lost critter “Not the Salvo Hole monster, but probably some smaller Sand sharks” one more cast and headed for the rack. Long day, will hit it again tomorrow. High tides mid day for most of week and wind shifts almost every day, so should be interesting. Worse case is I get to sit on beach, fish, have some adult beverages and relax.
