Rodanthe surf. 0530 - 0900 hrs. Hazy sun. SE 2. Water warm and blue green. Just couple of spot. Other 2 fishermen 0. Few no seems early. No flies. Wind was still N 10- 12 last nite.
Surf camp arrived round 0830 hrs. Set up about 200 ft south. Had to get out of way few minutes ago as charter came in very close.
Same loose dogs as yesterday. One brought ball over. After couple of minutes throwin ball for dog, owner comes over and says dog totally afraid of strangers. Guess this Capt not all that strange.
Seafood dinner again last nite. Usual clams, sno crab, shrimp etc. Ate all as usual even tho this Capt allergic to all shellfish.
Kids report traffic unusually heavy north on 12. Why??
2 of 3 houses south (Koehler Ct.) and 2 to north in front of the “Nights-in Rodanthe” house will probably be condemned or gone after next storm.
Ocean low off Carolinas given 10% chance of major development in next 5 days.
