Sunday Report

Rodanthe surf 0530 - 0830 hrs. WNW 8 - 15. Sunny turning to hazy.

Expectations met. Unable to reach beyond sand bars. Tide low. Crabs merciless.

No dolphins, no jumpin fish. Wind holdin ocean flat.

1 other fisherman out throwing silver. Nothing.

Beach empty till 1st visitors put up canopy at 0900 hrs.

Dogs all on leash so far.

Cleared last black fly from house.

Spiral ham for dinner.

After dinner fishin depends on when beach clears. Be low tide again and expectations again low.
