Kayak Bodie Island area

Hey everyone! Does anyone have any info. on kayaking around the Bodie light area? Heard of some place called The Pond? Would love to know if there are any parking/launch areas there or anywhere else in the area for that matter. Bringing them on a 6x12 trailer so we will need the extra space. I don't need to know anyone's secret spots or anything....LOL
