I have plenty of experience cobia fishing from piers, but when it comes to fishing for them off a boat I am pretty lost. I recently bought a 22ft boat and plan to take it cobia fishing while I'm in OBX for several weeks. Can anyone please give me some helpful tips Ex: trolling or drifting? I have sight casted with bucktails before but what do you use for trolling and how fast is the ideal speed? I know fishing from a boat and from a pier are completely different so I'm not going to pretend I know what I'm doing on a boat. I plan on fishing out of Oregon Inlet...Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated
