North Coast Grocery Shoppin

Just returned from 0600 - 0700 hrs. 3x a week OP shopping hour at large grocery chain.

3x normal customers. All w/ masks. Several old women tryin to stay 20+ ft from others, masks askew. Probably still there playin dodgems vs. puttin food in their carts.

Prices up apprx. 20% across the board. Eggs $2.49. Bacon $5.49 (listed as a special). No spray disinfectants. No fresh donuts or bagels. No weekly store ad. Potato salad pkg. $4.29 - cross street at small store = $2.09. Milk $2.49 - cross street $2.09. Only tomatos = a few Roma's. Cantaloupe $3.49.

2 wo-manned checkouts both w/ long lines. Shoppin quick to get the h*ll out not an option.

TV says wipe cart handle comin in. At checkout your groceries are put into a different cart - not wiped down.

On leavin, observed two police cars w/ officers holding at bay in their headlights (in the rain) 2 OP's 60-70 of age. Shoplifting.

Gas prices w/i 10 miles = $1.49.
