On the North Coast. Out today at 0600 hrs. to large grocery store opening, beginin today, = "only for seniors",0600 - 0700 hrs 3 days a week."
Bout 15 cars waiting for store to open. Left after 20 minutes and lot had over 100 cars. Took 20 minutes as senior shoppers do not move along quickly.
Limit of 1 for milk, fresh bread, TP, and paper towels. TP and paper towels only about 15 pkgs. of each on shelves.
No fresh chicken or beef. No donuts or bagels. No potatoes, about 10 bags of onions. Rest of produce seemed ample.
Anti- bacterial/viral cleaning supplies gone.
Other than a few pkg.'d cakes and muffins and cookies nothing else to chose.
Shame to offer exclusive hours for seniors and then not have fresh meat or bakery available.
Bout 20% were wearing worthless masks.
Closer small grocery to the homestead also began today "exclusive senior hour each day...also the 1st hour. Known for the best meats an veggies in the area. BUT, very small store, had to be a movin petri dish this AM.
Stopped at bank drive thru at opening. (Laugh of the day) 1st time ever used one. Expectin crowd but only 2 other cars. All banks now closed to inside customers. Some offering appt's.
Had 17 degrees and snow on roofs Sun. morning.
