New fishing questions.

Maybe King can answer these and maybe not.
Does anybody know when the Bonner bridge pier will be open? NCDOT has not given an update lately. Will it be a free fishing pier like the catwalk was?
Next question. When the New Jughandle bridge is complete and they turn RT 12 back over to Pea Island Park Service, how far and much of the beach access will we loose?
Getting cabin fever, three more months till heaven.
