NC does not care about the fisherman

With this recent Spanish Mackerel closure...effective on 8/23...comes many hardships that could have been avoided if the Governor and his cronies had a set of gonads.
I personally know guys that are gonna lose boats and houses because of this......All NC had to do was tell the Fed.s to shove it...100% of the Spanish Mackerel fishing is inside the 3 mile line.The Rec. quota is around 2.2 million pounds while the Comm. quota is at 600,000 pounds....this is totally ass backwards ...particularly when NC has never ever reached the rec. quota......the rec. quota could have been shared with the comm.'s ......but ohhh no ..can't have that.......makes my blood boil
