Thanks Tom for asking and Thank you to all the others for phone calls, emails and snail mail packages. My grandson Landon whom will be 2 in June had to have emergency surgery to place tubes in his ears for his ear drums were rupturing. This is almost unheard of to have done on an ER basis but I got a chance to view his ear drums and I have never seen anything like them. They were nasty, bleeding and very very infected. Its not that we do not take care of him because we take prime care of him. He was caught in a catch 20/20 with a primary care doctor pediatrician whom he started seeing for ear infections in November of last year and then her going on maternity leave, then another Dr. assuming care of her practice whom had no access to the patient files then back to that pediatrician whom came off leave to a folding medical practice then finally to a ENT. Well, he had the surgery which went fine, then came infections again and no antibiotic was working then finally a one that worked and no more pain, distress or infection. It was a very frustrating time. He is doing fine, finally talking and I mean talking instead of weird sounding things coming out of his cute little mouth. The bad thing is that I got Rocky Mt. Spotted fever, possibly from a tick that came from a bush or tree on the Roanoke River when I was watching the Stripers spawn and if you send me your email I can send you pictures of the fight or spawn of the stripers (rock) fish that I took. Well I am on extensive antibiotic treatments and I have been VERY sick to say the least. I hope that you had a great time fishing and let me know what the out come was.
