I read that there are several environmental groups that are filing lawsuits so that will tie it up for another 10 years. They claim that the bridge will resolve health and safety issues but thats bull. 158 is the limiting factor and unless there are improvements to handle the additional volume on 158, the bridge wont alleviate any of the hurricane traffic. Additionally, in the event of an evacuation, the false cape park to the north opens the gate to sandbridge. Make no mistake, this will raise property values in the northern banks so realtors like Doug Twiddy will make a killing. Just my two cents.
